Mr.Gupta is a thorough professional who always provides patient centred care as he got involved in my care as I was diagnosed to have severe endometriosis under the care of Mr.Jan with possibly involving the bowel. Mr.Gupta reviewed me and went through the MRI findings and the plan to do a joint case with Mr.Jan at Epsom Hospital. He has excellent communications skills explaining to me in great detail about his involvement and reassuring me with his plans if there is any involvement of bowel. Mr.Gupta, Mr.Jan and the Anaesthetic team led by Dr.Shylaja were brilliant along with all the theatre staff at Epsom as they did a fantastic job with my surgery which involved Laparoscopic hysterectomy, BSO and treatment of endometriosis. Mr.Gupta followed me up later and informed me about his involvement as there was some bowel involvement but all went well with the surgery and he assured me that he had no concerns and I was discharged next day at 8am. Mr.Gupta then followed up with a post-operative follow up call which was very kind of him and I would truly recommend him for any of the cool-reactal and general surgery needs as he is excellent skilful surgeon with very good bedside manners being calm and positive at all times. Thank you Mr.Gupta and your team at Epsom NHS Hospital for looking after me at a very challenging time of my life and it is 3 months since my surgery and I am back to myself working & leading a normal life with credit due to all of the above team.

Mr Gupta treated me of a large inguinal hernia. I found him to be very good from the initial consultation right through to discharge. He was very clear in explaining what would happen during the process and any side effects. I would very much recommend Mr Gupta if you require this type of surgery

I would once again like to thank Mr Gupta for the surgery carried out. I had a lengthy operation involving two re-joins of the bowel and it went well. During the months before and at regular consultations, he always outlined the plans for the future surgery in detail and listened well to any questions I had. Planning before the operation was good as he booked me in for other tests and we had a final outline meeting a few weeks before operating. I will always be grateful for the great skill of Mr Gupta and his team for the surgery performed. I can strongly recommend him and I wish him well for the future. Rory Crichton

I recently had great care and treatment for my inguinal hernia by Mr Gupta and the team at Ashtead Hospital. During consultation, we discussed the open and keyhole methods and I decided to go with the open method for a better outcome and smaller mesh insertion. Recovery has been smooth and swift with no complications. I was able to work from home after just three days of recuperation. Recommended

I was referred to Mr Gupta for abdominal surgery as part of a complex joint case. The surgery uncovered some surprises which had not been visible during pre-operative investigations. Thankfully, due to Mr Gupta's careful and skilful surgery, it was possible for everything to still be done as a laparoscopy and, to my relief, without the need for a stoma. The visible scarring is very minimal (approx. 1cm on each of the four incision sites).
